Driver : Roberta Fletcher (Bobby). ?Bobby first got hooked on Sidecar Racing in 1981 in the UK, when her better half Steve was a passenger on a Windle.? The excitement was just way too much, and Bobby always wanted to race, but never dreamt of racing her own sidecar, you see, Bobby is a disabled driver!? After losing her right leg in a motorcycle accident back in 1976, Bobby has accomplished riding her 1200cc Custom Harley Sportster Trike, in 2008 taking her race licence as a passenger and 2010 racing her Baker F1 sidecar with a Suzuki GSXR 1000 motor.

Steve’s old sidecar “The Baker” was sitting in the garage collecting dust, so Steve & Brett (Steve’s passenger) ?got their heads together, installed an electric shifter, moved the brake pedal from the right over to the left and put her on the track!!? In 2010 Bobby experienced going through 9 passengers in 12 races, she came 6th Overall in the SRA 2010 Championship, 3rd in the RACE Superseries F1 category and received “Rookie Driver of the Year” and “Sportsperson of the Year” Awards! with the SRA East.

Bobby is now looking forward to racing in 2011 with one of the most experienced passengers in the SRA East, Judy Demerski.? The only female team for the 2011 Season, and It’s going to be an exciting year for the two of them!!

Passenger: Judy Demerski.? Judy first saw racing sidecars in 1988 at Shannonville.  She was hesitantly interested and jokingly said to her husband Pete "Hey there is a husband and wife team out there (Mike & Greta Orchard) why don't we do this" They both laughed. In 1991 Pete & his friend bought a F2 and started racing.  After watching 2 races in 1991 Judy was totally hooked and wanted her own sidecar to race.

Pete and Dave put together a second F2 that came in pieces in crates when they bought the F2.  Judy started racing in 1992 with her brother Jim as her driver.  In 1992Judy was "Rookie Passenger” for the SRA.  In 1993 Pete & Judy teamed up together and finished 5th overall in the SRA for the season.  They raced their F2 together from 1993 through 1999.

In 2000 Pete bought Judy ?"Her Dream F1 sidecar"  The reason Judy call it that was when she first saw that sidecar race in 1988 their F1 Windle was brand new and had just been shipped in to Canada.  It was truly love at first site.  Pete & Judy raced their F1 from 2000 through 2010 when Pete officially retired from F1 racing. 

For 2011 Judy has the honor and pleasure of being the "monkey" for Bobby Fletcher of team Double Trouble.  Judy is excited and anxious for next season so that they can begin writing their own race history as a team.
