Profile:

Driver : Steve Fletcher.  Steve first started racing Sidecars in 1978 with the Auto 66 Club, as a passenger with his best friend Howard.  Steve and Howard raced at numerous tracks in East Yorkshire, UK racing their white & yellow Windle chassis with a Devermede BSA engine.  Collecting a few trophies along the way, they even had the opportunity to race alongside Steve “Webbo” Webster.  Now that’s another story!!

In 1983 Steve gave up sidecar racing to emigrate to Canada.  Went to Shannonville a few times to watch sidecars racing, and in 2005 bought a Baker F1 sidecar and started racing again as a driver.  After racing the Baker for 2 years, Steve ended up buying an F1 BLR, which won him the championship in 2008, 2009 and 2010.  Steve is looking forward to try again in 2011.

Passenger : Brett Hansen.  An auto mechanic.  Brett has always had a passion for motorcycles. Riding dirt bikes and motorcycles since his teens, Brett has raced motocross with OCMC and CMX clubs.  When the opportunity to join Team Fletcher as the passenger on the #1 rig for the 2009 season came up, Brett jumped at the chance.  What a great pairing it's been.  With two F1 championships, they anticipate continued success in the upcoming  season.
