Attention Ewan or Jean-Guy!!

I have a question.......

I spoke to my parts guy today regarding an oil pressure sensor, he said that there are no places to tap in and place one, he also mentioned that the R1 engines run with lower then usual oil pressure compared to other manufacturers. Now my question is this:

I have a grounding type oil sensor which will energize my red lights if my oil level drops below the sensor height, is this type of sensor good enough???

Please let me know if I am O.K with this.

Hi Jean-guy, no I do not have a rule book but I did read the F1 rules listed on the website.
