2016 Race School

Post by Bryan R » Sat Apr 02, 2016 1:02 pm

Hi All,

The season is fast approaching and I was wondering if there was anything shaping up to do a sidecar school with the RACE school. Shelby's boyfriend Coty is interested in going out for the school and we're wondering if there is anyone else. I'm working feverishly to get our rig ready but I'm not certain we'll be quite ready. Is anyone else planning to practice that weekend?

Cheers,

Bryan

Thanks for the encouragement! I usedta coulddo that , but now a days I'm thinking I need to either quit work or quit sleep! For now I'll just keep on picking away at it and how close I am to ready. I'll settle for function over cosmetics if it'll get me on the track. I can paint it this summer while everyone is racing in the US. The goal is to be fast and pretty by Calibogie!
Is there a sidecar school being organized??

Cheers,

Bryan

My new passenger has signed up for the school through RACE, not sure if anyone else has signed up. I have no problem teaching new passengers, not ready to teach driving yet (at least not modern rigs). I have taught the VRRA sidecar school for the past 3 years.

Hello all,
If you do not hold a current RACE licence one must take the RACE school to be able to take the sidecar training. The school is split in 2 parts, class room and on track training. Both must be completed to receive your RACE license.

Below is the link to the RACE school application including cost details

If you have further questions feel free to contact me via email

Thanks

Hey, there are still a few things to wrap up but since I stopped sleeping last week I've gotten a lot done! The body work is not finished but is all there, we should be there Saturday morning.... hopefully there's not too many bugs to work out on the rig. Shelby and I are anxious to get back on the horse that threw us!! The accident may have been 2 years ago but I'm still bleeding from the wallet, helmets, parts & lots of shop supplies are sure adding up, I'm afraid to total up the receipts stuffed into the sidecar file. Looking forward to seeing everyone at the track.

Cheers,

Bryan

It was great to see all the teams that made it out to RACE school and test and tune. Seeing some new faces along with some old.
