Posting a pic of J.R. new sidecar

Post by swede » Thu May 29, 2008 12:06 am

OK, new to this, but want to post a pic of Jean-Guy,s bike in progress. He is quiet, but I am not and want to show what I have to try and hang on to. Progress is now happening and looks like I get my first ride of my life in June @ Shannonville. Let me know how to add a pic.

Thanks
Steve

I've been looking at that photo, and the couple of the early mock-up from the newsletter, and scratching my head.

On the rear JG has the sprocket set to the right of the rotor, and the rotor inboard close to the hub carrier. This offsets the sprocket way out to the right a considerable distance from the inner frame rail. Is the motor offset an equal distance to the right in it's cradle to keep the countershaft and rear sprockets aligned? Or has JG worked up a clever jackshaft system to keep the motor inboard and close to the inner frame rail?

It's hard to tell from the photos where he's going.

Try looking at the "other" side of the frame...then you'll understand what Mike is saying

Straying from the long tradition of white everything, JG finally caves in and taps into the hidden speed waiting for him in cobalt blue.
